How to Join the GLYDE Team Through Shopify Collabs

Welcome to the GLYDE team. We use Shopify Collabs to manage your personal discount code, affiliate link, sales, commission and payments.

Please follow the steps below. The setup should take approximately 10 minutes.

Before You Begin

Please have the following ready:

• The GLYDE invitation or application link
• The email address you want connected to your account
• Access to your social media accounts
• Your bank or payment information for future commission payments

You do not need to own a Shopify store.

Step 1: Open Your GLYDE Invitation

If GLYDE has invited you by email:

1. Check your inbox for an email from Shopify Collabs or GLYDE.
2. Check your spam or junk folder if you cannot find it.
3. Open the email and click Review offer.
4. Check that the invitation is from GLYDE.
5. Review the partnership details.
6. Click Accept offer.

If GLYDE has sent you an application link:

1. Open the link provided by the GLYDE team.
2. Click the option to apply or join.
3. Complete the application questions.
4. Connect your relevant social media accounts.
5. Review your details carefully.
6. Click Send application.

GLYDE will review your application and notify you when it has been approved.

Step 2: Create or Access Your Shopify Account

After opening the invitation or application:

1. Log in using your existing Shopify account.
2. If you do not have an account, select Create account.
3. Use the same email address that received the GLYDE invitation.
4. Create a secure password.
5. Complete any email verification requested by Shopify.

Keep these login details safe. GLYDE will never ask for your Shopify password.

Step 3: Accept the Collabs Conditions

1. Read the Shopify Collabs Community Guidelines.
2. Review any GLYDE partnership conditions shown with the offer.
3. Click Sounds good or Accept offer to continue.

Please read the offer carefully so you understand the commission, customer discount and payment conditions.

Step 4: Complete Your Creator Profile

Add accurate and current information, including:

• Your full name
• Contact email address
• Country and location
• Profile photograph
• Short creator biography
• The sports and activities you participate in
• Your main social media channels

Your biography should briefly explain your connection to swimming, open-water swimming, triathlon, SwimRun, coaching or the wider aquatic community.

You do not need to have a huge following. We value genuine involvement, trusted recommendations and meaningful connections with swimmers.

Step 5: Connect Your Social Media Accounts

From your Shopify Collabs dashboard:

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Social accounts.
3. Click Connect beside each account you want to add.
4. Follow the instructions to authorise the connection.

Shopify Collabs can connect with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.

For the best Instagram functionality, use an Instagram Creator or Business account. Facebook requires an active Facebook Page rather than a personal profile.

Only connect accounts that belong to you and that you actively use.

Step 6: Access Your GLYDE Partnership

Once your invitation has been accepted or your application has been approved:

1. Log in at collabs.shopify.com.
2. Open Active Collabs.
3. Select GLYDE.
4. Review your partnership offer.
5. Locate your personal affiliate link and customer discount code.
6. Save both somewhere secure and easy to access.

Your GLYDE partnership currently includes:

• 5% commission on eligible sales attributed to you
• A 15% customer discount for your community
• Early access to selected GLYDE products and information
• Opportunities to test and provide feedback on selected products
• Support and product information from the GLYDE team

Product-testing opportunities and complimentary products are not automatic and may depend on suitability, availability and campaign requirements.

Step 7: Set Up Your Commission Payments

You should complete this step before promoting your link.

1. Log in to Shopify Collabs.
2. Open Settings.
3. Select Payouts.
4. Click Activate auto-payouts.
5. Complete the information required to create your Hyperwallet payment account.
6. Select your Shopify account when prompted.
7. Add your preferred payout method.
8. Check that your legal name, address and banking information are correct.

Shopify manages the payment process. Commission initially remains pending during the order holding period to allow for cancellations and returns.

Automatic payouts are generally processed twice per month once the available balance reaches Shopify’s minimum payout level. Payments are handled in US dollars, so currency conversion fees may apply when receiving funds in another currency.

You remain responsible for meeting any applicable New Zealand tax obligations relating to your commission income.

Step 8: Begin Sharing GLYDE

You can promote GLYDE using:

• Your personal affiliate link
• Your customer discount code
• Social media posts and stories
• Videos and product reviews
• Training-group conversations
• Newsletters, blogs or websites
• Direct recommendations to swimmers and triathletes

For a sale to be correctly attributed to you, the customer should either:

• Purchase through your personal affiliate link; or
• Enter your personal discount code during checkout.

Always test your link before sharing it.

When creating GLYDE content:

• Speak honestly and from your own experience.
• Use the correct GLYDE name, logo and product information.
• Do not change or redraw the GLYDE logo.
• Do not make unsupported medical, safety or performance claims.
• Clearly disclose your GLYDE relationship where required.
• Include wording such as: “I may receive a commission when you purchase through my link.”
• Contact GLYDE if you are uncertain about a product specification or claim.

We want authentic recommendations—not infomercials from the deep end.

Step 9: Check Your Results

To review your performance:

1. Log in to Shopify Collabs.
2. Open Analytics.
3. Select GLYDE.
4. Review your visits, sales, conversion rate and earned commission.

Please remember that returned, cancelled or refunded orders may not qualify for commission.

If You Have a Problem

I cannot find my invitation

Check your spam, promotions and junk folders. Search for “Shopify Collabs” and “GLYDE.” If it is still missing, contact GLYDE and confirm the exact email address it should be sent to.

My invitation will not open

Try opening it on a desktop computer or in a private/incognito browser window. If the invitation has expired, ask GLYDE to send a new one.

My Instagram account will not connect

Make sure you are logged in to the correct Instagram account. A Creator or Business account should be linked to the correct Facebook Page. You may also need to clear your browser cache or try an incognito window.

I cannot see my link or discount code

Confirm that you have accepted the GLYDE offer and then check Active Collabs. If GLYDE does not appear, send the team a screenshot showing the page you can see.

I cannot receive commission payments

Go to Settings → Payouts and confirm that automatic payments have been activated and your payment details have been completed.

• Your full name
• The email connected to Shopify Collabs
• Your social media username
• A screenshot of the problem

Never include your password or complete banking information in an email or message.
